Family BBQ & Resource Fair Recap

What an incredible day of support and community connection! On June 22, 2025, Duffy’s Hope welcomed families from across Wilmington to our Family BBQ & Resource Fair, and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout. From the delicious food hot off the grill and water ice to the meaningful conversations at our resource tables, the energy was vibrant, and the spirit of community was strong.

A Day of Family, Food & Fellowship

Laughter echoed through the park as kids played games, parents explored helpful services, and neighbors reconnected over plates. Local vendors and resource partners arrived with essential tools, ranging from education support to employment assistance and youth programs. We’re grateful to our partners, volunteers, vendors, and attendees for making this event such a success.
