Her Commitment to Prevention and Impact
Dr. Cornish is an expert in helping communities understand and prevent behavioral health challenges before they start. Her work focuses on youth development, trauma-informed care, mental health, and prevention science. She holds a Doctor of Social Sciences (Prevention Science) from Wilmington University (August 2025), a Master of Science in Developmental Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications. Additionally, she has further deepened her impact in the field through specialized training and certifications reflecting her long-standing dedication to advancing prevention work and equipping other organizations and communities with the skills to create meaningful, sustainable change.

Dr. Cornish is known for embedding trauma-informed, healing practices in her work. She understands behavioral health and youth development through lived experience, environment, and systemic influence—not isolation.
